Jonathan “M¿SPELD” Cornell

January 24, 1984 - February 1, 2016

A well known and beloved member of the paintball community, M¿speld exemplified what it meant to be a Modern Day Pirate. He was a loving and doting father to his daughter Cassidy, as well as a loving son and brother. He started playing paintball with his brother and some friends and fell in love with the game, continuing to play for several teams when he was younger. Following a long tradition in his family, he joined the army, serving honorably and had been deployed for a tour in Iraq. Once he got back to the states, Jonathan immediately got back into the sport he loved. A member of team BBK, M¿speld had a passion for growing the sport, working with and mentoring kids, and was featured in several podcasts, magazines, and YouTube videos promoting the game. In true pirate fashion, Jonathan died doing exactly what he loved, while playing paintball during Dreaded Legends 1. Even though he is no longer with us, his name and legacy continue to live on. He was an organ donor and has saved several lives, including that of a young girl, whom his heart still beats in her chest. As of the most recent update, all of his organ recipients are still alive and thriving because of his selfless last act of charity and heroism. M¿speld would sit with a friend for hours if needed. He was known to give his last dollar to help someone. When he gave you his friendship it was with no strings attached. His loyalty was unquestionable, even if it got him in trouble. He was truly one of a kind, a father, a son, a brother, a friend, a soldier, a pirate. M¿speld may be dead BUT he is NOT GONE! He will be missed, but never forgotten. UNTIL VALHALLA!!

Kevin J. Drilling

June 21st,1977 to October 13th, 2019

Mr. Drilling was a founding member of this organization. Really he was the best of us all, a Husband, Marine, Civil Engineer, Craftsman, Traveler, avid outdoorsmen and most of all one of the best friends you could ever hope to have. The times and adventures shared by the founding pirates are the inspiration for what we now call the Order of Modern Day Pirates and Proud Beauties International and Mr. Drilling was such a huge part of all of it. He will be greatly missed but his spirit lives on through the works of our international tribe of pirates and all we do in the name of Adventure, Charity, Community, Mentorship & Self-improvement. We love you & are forever thankful for the times we had. until the end by whatever means.
